 Scholarship Options

1. Choose Dalarna First Scholarship

  • Available to applicants who rank a DU programme as their first choice on UniversityAdmissions.se
  • Requires application submission by Feb 15 (autumn intake) or Sept 15 (spring intake)

2. Academic Excellence Scholarship

  • Progressive, based on semester academic performance
  • Semester Award: SEK 5,000–15,000 per semester
  • Programme Distinction: Bonus awarded at completion if eligibility maintained each semester
  • Award sizes vary by programme (e.g., Solar Energy Engineering up to SEK 90,000 total; Data Science up to SEK 70,000)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizen who is required to pay tuition fees
  • Choose Dalarna First: apply for a DU Master’s as your first choice and meet programme admission requirements
